1. What does Overvinne offer?
Overvinne provides access to mood reporting, a treatment program, and consultations with a psychologist. You decide how actively you want to use the different parts of Overvinne, as your individual challenges require personalized solutions. The combination of a digital therapy program and psychologist consultations is called "blended care" in professional terminology, ensuring you get exactly the help you need. This helps you avoid using more resources, time, and energy than necessary.
The mood report in Overvinne lets you report your feelings three times a day. This makes you more aware of your feelings and gives you an overview so you (and potentially your psychologist) can more easily understand the connection between your life circumstances and your emotional state. Based on your mood reports, you’ll also receive advice to help you manage your challenges. The treatment program in Overvinne is based on manuals used by psychologists in therapy. You get insights, knowledge, and exercises to help you manage your difficulties. In the Overvinne clinic, you will find skilled and experienced psychologists and psychology specialists. We have selected psychologists with broad and varied experience, so you can find an expert on precisely your challenges.
2. What is the cost of Overvinne?
Overvinne costs NOK 279/month, NOK 999 for 6 months, and NOK 1290 for 12 months (standard price outside of promotions and discounts), providing access to mood reporting, the treatment program, and daily advice through the app. The full amount for 6 months (999 NOK) and 12 months (1290 NOK) is charged after the trial period.Consultations with a psychologist cost NOK 1399 for 40 minutes and NOK 2798 for 80 minutes. Overvinne also offers couples therapy. You must register in the app to access consultations with a psychologist.
3. How are consultations conducted?
Consultations with our psychologists take place in the app on Android or iPhone, or on your computer. If you prefer having the consultation on your phone, you can join the meeting directly from the app. If you prefer having your appointment on a computer, you will receive a link via email to join the session. We recommend using the following browsers:

You also have the option to book physical consultations where you meet the psychologist at their office at the scheduled time.After the consultation, you'll have the option to complete a questionnaire about the session and your therapist. This ensures you receive therapy that you find helpful and effective.
4. Is there a commitment period for an Overvinne subscription?
No, there is no commitment period for private users. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month, and you will be charged NOK 279 for 30 days of access. You can manage your subscription in the app under Settings → Subscription, where you can also check your renewal date.
5. When am I billed for my Overvinne subscription?

6. Is it safe regarding data security to use Overvinne?
Video consultations with Overvinne psychologists use encrypted technology. This ensures your session remains confidential between you and your psychologist.When creating a corporate account (health insurance or employer-provided access), you link your BankID to your Overvinne account. BankID is an electronic identification method used for secure authentication and signing online, widely used by public institutions and health services. BankID uses two-factor authentication for secure identification.
1. No-show and cancellation
Appointment cancellations must occur no later than 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the scheduled session. All cancellations or changes, regardless of reason, must be made within 48 hours before the appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee.You can cancel your consultation within the app yourself. Log in, go to your appointments, and select cancel/postpone. To postpone, choose "postpone," then go to booking and select a new suitable appointment time.
2. Payment/refund
Please be aware that our psychologists do not have public reimbursement agreements. Therefore, examinations and treatment must be fully covered by the individual, NAV, insurance companies, or other contracting parties. It is possible to have costs covered via health insurance with Vertikal Helse.When booking your desired appointment, you pay immediately by debit/credit card. Appointments covered via Vertikal Helse will be automatically deducted accordingly.
3. Medical records (Journalføring)
Psychological treatment requires mandatory record-keeping. You have the right to access your records.
4. How consultations are conducted
You can choose to attend the consultation via mobile app, web app, or desktop. Follow the link provided in the app or your booking email, ensuring it opens in Chrome or Firefox. Upon entering, you will see a countdown timer until your appointment, after which you will see and hear the psychologist. The consultation lasts 40 minutes. After the session, you will be directed to a brief questionnaire related to your therapy, taking approximately 3 minutes. The feedback helps your psychologist provide the support you need.
For the first session: You must log in using BankID initially, then log in with your username and password to link accounts. For future appointments, logging in with BankID will suffice.
1. Is online psychology as effective as traditional psychology?
Digital psychologist consultations can be as effective as face-to-face meetings. Initially, concerns existed about poorer therapy outcomes due to fewer relationship-building and communication opportunities online. However, multiple studies now show that online psychologist-patient relationships and therapeutic outcomes are equally effective. Thus, Overvinne allows achieving results comparable to traditional psychologists. Overvinne simplifies receiving help when and where you want, potentially making treatment more effective than traditional options.
2. What are the benefits of online consultations and Overvinne compared to physical consultations?
Overvinne provides support and assistance readily available in your pocket, accessible whenever convenient for you. It makes treatment more affordable and simpler, eliminating waiting rooms and travel, and allowing you to use as much time as needed exploring the app content.
3. Which psychologists work at Overvinne?
Our psychologists are carefully selected to provide highly skilled professionals with diverse experiences. Overvinne clinic is well-equipped to match you with a psychologist who understands and helps with your specific issues. You can see the psychologist overview in the app.
1. I want to delete my account but don’t know how.
You have two options:
Cancel your subscription but keep your account in case you want to use Overvinne again later.
Go to the app → Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription.
Delete your account and remove all stored information.
Go to the app → Settings → Delete my account. All data associated with your account will be permanently deleted.

iPhone
Audio files play but there is no sound – iPhones have an additional mute switch that may affect audio files in our app but not video sound. Please check if your device is muted.
Mood Report
The app crashes when I try to use the Mood Report – This could be due to an outdated app version or an older operating system. We support Android 8.0 and later, and iOS 13.0 and later. Please ensure your app and device are up to date.
1. I want to use my right of withdrawal. According to the Right of Withdrawal Act, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without providing a reason.
